A WILDER LAND

 

Wilderlands is a new project to encourage each other to support nature at this critical time.  

All around the world we are losing our wildlife, natural habitats, our wild eco systems and natural resources at an unprecedented rate.

​

We want to support people to reclaim their wild heritage and

become better connected,  nature  supportive communities,  that enrich all lives.

 

It is time for us all to co-create the lands we want to inhabit,  to support wildlife to

return and flourish. This land can both support human and wildlife living together

if we are brave enough to take the steps that are needed so we can all thrive.

 

Each one of us can make a difference by daring to dream of a land of abundant nature.

It need not be a normal experience to constantly read headlines which point to declines

and extinction. Imagine if we could  support nature to return as it naturally does and where needed, reintroduce many of the native species that once lived on this land.

How wonderful if you could go for a walk and hope to see more birds, kingfishers, bats, rare butterflies, water voles, otters, beavers, bison and many more, all once native,

all here long before we were....

​

Working together, we can stand up for the Wild.

We are at the very early stage of two unique and inspirational rewilding projects in the UK and intend to be involved in many more. We want to help communities buy land for rewilding, we want to encourage everyone, from the smallest garden to the largest landowner to commit to creating landscapes where nature can thrive, where we become custodians and friends of the wild. Not always seeing nature as profit or something separate to be harvested, nature is our greatest resource, its time to work together.

In 2021 we will be hosting a whole summer of wild weekends, creating wild camps with smaller groups, learning skills such as rewilding, fire making, den building, tracking, bird, tree, plant identification, bird language, natural navigation, archery, wood carving, Celtic blacksmithing, flint knapping, astronomy and star gazing, Yoga, relaxation and meditation, lucid dreaming,  creative writing, wild arts, foraging, wild cooking with campfire music, myth making and storytelling with the option of a wild spa, camping, glamping and delicious organic food plus much more.  We will invite the very best teachers, leaders, speakers and musicians to create truly magical weekends.
